Montessori Week - Peace

Today, our second day of Montessori Week, we talked about peace.  We learned about Maria Montessori and how she found it important that Montessori classroom environments have a peace area so that we can find peace, calmness and kindness when needed.  We also sang the song Light a Candle for Peace and made Peace Doves.

In the afternoon, we read the book "I am Peace" and colored Peace Doves at our Outdoor Environment.
